Important informations:

• Dress warmly, in several layers following the “onion principle.” This way, you can easily adjust your level of warmth to the conditions.
• Hat and gloves: These keep warm the body parts where most heat would otherwise be lost.
• Sun and cold protection for all exposed areas (face, nose, ears). A good pair of sunglasses is especially important in winter!
• Footwear: Choose waterproof yet breathable shoes with good insulation — sturdy hiking boots or winter boots with solid grip are ideal.
• Bring enough to drink, as physical activity causes significant fluid loss. Insulated drinking systems make it especially easy to stay hydrated on the go
